Mumbai Cancer Care (MCC) is an organization formed & lead by Oncologists trained from apex cancer institute of India i.e. Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. It is based in Mumbai & Maharashtra with operational tie ups with multiple charitable institutes & corporates across Mumbai & Maharashtra. It was founded in 2016 with an intention to provide high class evidence based oncology services to patients of all strata at affordable price. Today, it is one of the pioneering organizations to work dedicatedly for the cancer patients in a holistic way throughout their course of treatment. Mumbai Cancer Care (MCC) offers state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapeutic and intensive care oncology facilities at multiple hospitals across Mumbai & Maharashtra.

History

Dr Anup Tamhankar & Dr Amit Patil got trained & worked with the institutes of excellence in medical field in India i.e. Tata Memorial Centre, KEM Hospital & JJ Hospital, Mumbai. Having worked for 16 consecutive years in the field of medicine, surgery & oncology gave them insight into the concerns and problems faced by oncology patients from various parts of the country and from socio-economic strata. With a drive to work for the helpless & hapless cancer patients from various parts of the country, they formed a no profit & no loss venture called Mumbai Cancer Care (MCC). This ray of hope soon has become a shining star to guide & help thousands of cancer patients to the most appropriate, scientific & affordable cancer care. The venture started in a small nursing home in Mumbai has now become face of many charitable organizations & corporate across Mumbai & Maharashtra.

Soft Tissue Sarcoma:

STS wide excision

Gynecological Oncology:

Laparoscopic or open total hysterectomy, pelvic lymph node dissection, Wertheim’s radical hysterectomy, Cytoreductions for ovarian cancer

Urological oncology:

Radical Cystectomy & Ileal Conduit (RCIC), radical total or partial nephrectomy, Retroperitoneal lymph node dissection (RPLND), Penectomy with groin node dissection, Scrotal and high inguinal orchiectomy.

Microvascular flap reconstruction:

Free fibula osteocutaneous flap reconstruction (FFOCF), Free radial artery forearm flap reconstruction (FRAFF), free anterolateral thigh flap reconstruction (FALT).
